Based on the 2.0 16V Renault Sport Generation 2004, Renault Sport Technologies has come up with a ‘Cup’ version. It’s a lively successor to car such as the R8 Gordini, R5 GT Turbo and Mégane Coupé.
This “mini-SuperTouring” gives amateurs the chance to complete in track races with a car that is as reliable as it is competitive. It will hit 240 km/h thanks to its 190-bhp engine, a sequential 6-speed gearbox, 15” Michelin tyres and a weight of just 920 kg.
With over 600 produced, the Clio Cup races in thirteen national championships : Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Spain, France, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey and Mexico.
